+The party adventured further into the cave, but as they walked a number of their wills broke and they felt an overpowering urge to push back, with knowldge that there was nothing ahead of them, despite knowing that there is. They pushed ever onwards, and eventually broke through a mental barrier that then pushed the thought into their mind that there was nothing behind them, and no reason to go back. Oddly, the Yugs with the group were unaffected.
+As they moved further from the barrier, fungal life began to grow. They eventually found their way limited by a fungal forest growing either side of the path. They are eventually confronted by a sentient mushroom sat on the shoulder of a Yug that seemed to be infected with spores, which tried to convince them to return to its village for a “fun time”. The party weren't convinced, especially when a larger mushroom began pumping spores at them from the side of the route. Whilst a couple of the group succumbed to the spores, Ryo bent nature to his will and made a path off to the side of the route whilst Sassani Banished the creatures. They followed Sassani's lead as her amulet led her to the base of a rise, which the group took a moment to rest at before taking turns on Sassani's broom to climb.
+At the top they found themselves in another fungal growth, but this one significantly more well managed than the jungle below. This one, they surmised, was a cultivated farming area. Ahead of them in the darkness they could make out a number of spider-like creatures, and two Yugs moving amongst them. As the group moved forward these creatures retreated, until finally they took a defensive line as they began to run out of field.
+The party attacked the group and swiftly overcame them, finding behind them a large bowl containing the spider-creatures home. Most buildings were made of webbing and other excretia, but there was also a stone temple in the centre of the village. The spider creatures were fleeing their village, leaving it abandoned as the party pushed in.
