====== Backstory ======

The Dragon Kazan no saisei (volcanic rebirth) covers several domain, but to the Sect of Saisei he embodies life.

The act of such is depicted in their mountainous temple. Above ground, the snow and a rocky landscape seem only all to bleak with a small 3 story tower topped with a belfry. The tower however keeps going beneath the surface a good mile at least, for good is a temple without a pilgramage. Underground is a voluminous cavern, the base of which has an active magma flow. The heat from which brings water down from the snow above. Light from the surface reflected on the obsidian glass, some of which has been polished to a mirror like glaze.

The nutrient rich magma rock, broken down by time to a fertile soil in the surrounding area, provides the last ingredient to this rich mirco environment, which serves as both temple and home to the Sect of Saisei.

It was here that Kathra grew up after join the sect from a young age after her family died from a plague that ravished her village. She joined with the aim to dedicate her life to helping others, never aiming or believing she would become one of the "touched".

The "touched" were the rare few of the order who had been deemed worthy by Kazan no Saisei to embody his radiant touch.

The touched of the order where never hard to miss. To commune with Kazan was more that a mortal body could normally take. Their eyes, skin and hair rendered pale white, for some their hair simply went with wind.

While their bodies where pushed to the limits by the experience, they where strengthen as well. While their eyes show no ability for sight, the touched see as well as any other. While some what withered by the experience most touched find a new physical aptitude as well as having a lasting connection to Kazan's power, to his light.

The touched embody aspects of their god, their magic is no different. Each spell they prepare, the words wrap around the clerics form like a tattoo.

So this story of the sect of Saisei also become Kathras story. She was became a cleric of the order, they looked after her as she aimed to look after others, her personal difficulties with anger and rage where never looked down on, for in the circle of rebirth there must be destruction as part of the cycle.

Kazan saw this in her as others had done, as so she became "touched", he long hair fading to white with the strain. Then disintegrating with with next breeze.

Once touched, the expectation is to go out into the world once more and spread the cycle. A calling Kathra relished, bringing the faith to others, for them to believe was not needed, for all that live die, and from death comes new life.

Life in the mountainous regions are hard so there is always work for a good healer and priest.
